I’ve created a new area over in the permanent pages to the right side of this website. It is called the Stratfor Reports Area ➡.
Stratfor is a company that makes its money by producing global intelligence reports for government agencies, corporations, investors and others who need to have an accurate assessments of the current global situation. It would defeat their effectiveness and undermine their credibility if they allowed themselves to get sucked into the world of ‘spin’. It is in their best interests to analyze things and render a straight opinion about them because that’s the only kind of intelligence which is truly ‘actionable’.
Theoretically, none of why Stratfor does what it does is ‘rocket science’. But, in a world where every geopolitical player puts spin on every ball in play, it is refreshing to find an entity in whose best interests it is to play straight.
But, the best thing about Stratfor, is that they distribute some of their reports free to the public – just for the asking. I’ve been collecting them for some time now and I’ve decided to share them here on this blog.
