Whoa, that was quite a powerful speech delivered by quite a powerful young woman!
I didn’t see the banner hanging up at the beginning of the video and was thus quite shocked to see in the end credits that this was delivered in 1992! Has anything changed? That speech could be delivered today without having to change a single word. That’s sad.
What a remarkable girl. I googled her and found lots of articles about her. Apparently she is one of the most well-known young environmentalists of our day. I didn’t know.
